Distribution of 50 tonnes of dates donated by Saudi Arabia to commence before Ramadan: Minister

Saudi Arabia has donated 50 tonnes of dates to Maldives, with distribution set to take place before the month of Ramadan, said Minister of Islamic Affairs Dr Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed.

Every year, Saudi Arabia donates dates to the Maldives for Ramadan, and this year's shipment has already been received, the minister said.
