Opposition coalition partner, People's National Congress (PNC), met with the president of the Human Rights Commission of Maldives (HRCM), Aminath Eenas, on Wednesday regarding the arrest of former President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom.

After the meeting, PNC's deputy leader and former Minister of Economic Development, Mohamed Saeed, stated that the sit-down took place in a very conducive environment.
