Amin Avenue flats to be handed over to buyers in 2017

Amin Avenue, the three towers of 14 storeys being developed in the reclaimed suburb of Hulhumale, will be completed and handed over to the flat buyers next year, announced the project’s contractor Amin Construction Pvt Ltd.

With 279 apartments, Amin Avenue features the three tallest towers to be constructed yet in Hulhumale. With 93 apartments in each tower, the apartment categories are Basic, Basic Plus, Luxury and Penthouse.

Adam Nizveen of Amin Avenue’s sales team told reporters Wednesday that all concrete works of towers A and B have been completed while 70 percent of tower C is over. Noting that construction is progressing ahead of schedule, Nizveen stated that the apartments of towers A and B will be handed over to their buyers on June 1 next year.

According to Nizveen, the current works ongoing in towers A and B are paint jobs and electrical wiring while tower C is expected to be completed and let out by December 2017. However, the company has not yet disclosed the expenses for the project.

Nizveen added that the apartments of towers A and B will be shown to their buyers this year December to give them sufficient time to purchase furniture and other materials for their flats.

Shiraz Musthafa of Amin Avenue’s sales team added that all the apartments had been sold within six months of being put up for sale. However, apartments that have not being paid for within the given deadline are being put back on the market.

“We mean to sell them on a first come first served basis.”

According to Amin Construction, apartment buyers must pay 20 percent of the apartment price as down payment, while the remaining 80 percent can be covered via HDFC or paid according to Amin’s payment schedule.
