Maldives ushered in 34 winning placements at the Haute Grandeur Global Awards 2019, which aims to "honour the very highest achievements from across the global hotel industry".
Luxury hotels from 172 countries across seven continents competed in 90 categories in the levels 'Global', 'Continental' and 'Country', out of which a total of 10 Maldivian hotels secured the awards.
