Ooredoo has partnered with Amana Takaful to provide travel insurance through its digital wallet M-Faisaa.
Speaking at the ceremony held at Ooredoo Head Office today, Hussain Niyaz, Ooredoo's Chief Commercial Officer, said that the introduction of services such as travel insurance on M-Faisaa is a significant step towards enhancing the company's service portfolio. Niyaz further added that efforts will be made to include additional insurance offerings within the M-Faisaa platform.
Niyaz said that travel insurance is a useful service anywhere in the world and the service will be available within a minute of applying on the M-Faisaa app.
To access this service via M-Faisaa, customers need to provide traveler information by selecting M-Faisaa on the Ooredoo app and selecting the get insurance option. If insurance is required for multiple travelers, the option will also be available.
After filling out details, selecting a preferred policy, and finalizing the payment, travelers will be insured within minutes.
For added convenience, Ooredoo customers can now find a 'Get Insurance' banner added to M-Faisaa. By clicking on this banner, travelers can easily access the application to acquire insurance.
Travel insurance, designed to cover expenses arising from unforeseen events during travel, safeguards a significant portion of the costs in the event of incidents such as accidents while on a journey.
