Allied Insurance has recently become a participant in the Corporate Humanity Initiative led by the Maldives Red Crescent, as well as the 'Rakkaa' initiative of Maldives Police Services. These initiatives were signed under the company's 'Premium for Good' CSR programme.

The signing of the agreements took place during a press conference held to commemorate Allied's anniversary.

Hussain Luweiz, the Managing Director of Allied, represented the company during the signing, while the Red Crescent was represented by its Secretary General, Fatimath Himya.

The Corporate Humanity Initiative, initiated by the Red Crescent, aims to enable companies to extend support to various islands as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Within the framework of this initiative, Allied commits to actively engaging in offering social care, health programs, and emergency assistance to rural areas.

Additionally, Allied's CSR program has aligned itself with the Rakka program of the Maldives Police Service. Notably, Allied has consistently supported this program on an annual basis. Addressing the initiative, Hussain Luweiz emphasized the company's commitment to contributing to the improvement of road safety in the country through the 'Rakka' support under the CSR program, recognizing it as a significant and beneficial endeavor.

During the meeting, Superintendent of Police Ahmed Faseeh from the Maldives Police Service acknowledged the consistent support and collaboration provided by Allied since the inception of the Rakka program in 2014. The current year marks the 10th anniversary of the Rakka program, with the 100th event scheduled to take place, making it a particularly significant milestone. Special activities are planned in various parts of the country to celebrate and raise awareness.

The 'Rakka' initiative, a collaboration between the Maldives Police Service and Allied, aims to enhance public awareness about accident prevention. Targeted awareness programs are conducted for students, parents, and office communities as part of this effort.
