A 17-year-old sustained serious injury during a violent assault in Hulhumale’ on Wednesday.
Hulhumale’ Hospital reported that two juveniles were brought in with injuries around 1210 hours on Wednesday afternoon.
The Hospital further reported that one of them was in critical condition, while the other was being treated in the dressing room.
The youth who sustained serious injuries and was taken to the ER was from Rathafandhoo, Gaaf Dhaalu, while the youth being treated in the Dressing Room was from Addu.
Maldives Police Service reportedly arrested two individuals related to the incident. So far, no information has been revealed about the identities of either of them.
