Police have seized a kilo of drugs from Hulhumale' during an operation carried out on Tuesday. Seven persons were arrested in relation to this case.
Police said today that in the operation, carried out based on Intelligence reports and under a court order, they searched two apartments and two cars.
They said that 1085.71 grams of drugs were found.
The seven individuals arrested are between the ages of 18 and 39, Police said.
All were presented for remand hearings at the Criminal Court, where they were placed in remand in custody for 10 days as the investigation proceeds.
