Italian airline 'Air Italy' on Wednesday, resumed flights to Maldives following a two-year hiatus.

Maldives Airports Company Ltd (MACL) welcomed the inaugural flight conducted by Air Italy's long-haul Airbus A330 by a ceremonial water salute. A reception held to greet the flight crew was joined by MACL's Acting Managing Director (MD) Moosa Solih and Italian Honorary Consul Marazzi Giorgia.
