State Electric Company (STELCO) has urged all of its operating outlets to ensure service remains uninterrupted during Ramadan.
The Islamic holy month falls to the sunny period in 2022. The extreme heat often correlates with increased power consumption in households, while in 2022 the period coincides with Ramadan; a month where usage of household appliances and even electricity increases comparatively.
Meanwhile, it was reported that the newly appointed STELCO Managing Director Mr. Ahmed Shareef met with all of the outlet managers via an online conference meeting to discuss about the objectives.
Mr. Shareef advised all outlet managers to ensure the service remains without hiccups to reduce customer grievances during a period where electricity demand will be higher than usual.
