Police, beating WAMCO, secures a spot in the finals

After defeating four time champion WAMCO, Police Club has secured a spot in the finals of this year's VAM Association Cup.

In the semifinal matched played at the indoor court at Social Centre last night, Police beat WAMCO through playing five sets. Police won the first set with 17-25, while WAMCO rose up in the second set with 22-25.

The third set brought a win for Police with 21-25, while the fourth set was once again taken by WAMCO with 23-25. The final set saw Police emerge as winners, taking it with 13-15.

Player of the Match was Police Club's Graziela Ribeiro DeSouza.

The past four years saw WAMCO emerge as Champions through beating Police Club. Although they lost last night's semifinal match, WAMCO still stands a chance to play in the finals.

In tonight's last semifinal match, WAMCO will be playing against Huraa Community Club.

The final match will be played tomorrow night.
