State Electric Company (STELCO) held a lucky-draw event to award housing flats from its Blue Ridge towers. A total of 310 employees were eligible for the currently unsold 32 units.
The unsold units included 16 2+1 bedroom apartments and 16 one bedroom apartments. The lucky-draw was hosted to award 17 apartments from the remaining 32.
STELCO confirms 75 of its employees were eligible for the one bedroom units of the Blue Ridge housing towers. A total of 235 employees were eligible for the 2+1 bedroom apartments.
Lucky-draws for both apartment categories were carried out separately. While the units were awarded to lucky draw winners, a total of 15 employees from the eligible list were placed on waitlist for each category.
STELCO's Managing Director Ahmed Shareef describe the evening as a joyous occasion to many. He also stressed on the transparent conduct of the company towards awarding its housing tower units to eligible employees.
The "Blue Ridge" towers contain a total of 320 housing units including 72 single bedroom units and 288 triple room units.
