Fenaka Corporation has urged its employees to complete their day-to-day tasks within official business hours. The corporation further noted employees will now be allowed overtime work following a requisite permission by relevant department heads.
The new organizational decision comes from the top management, bearing the signature of Managing Director Ahmed Saeed Mohamed. The circular sent out to all the employees noted that employees were not longer allowed to work overtime without necessary permissions for it, and must complete their daily tasks during office hours. The decision will remain effective until announced otherwise.
Fenaka Corporation operates from 08:00 am in the morning until 03:00 pm in the afternoon during public work days.
The utility provider’s front man confirmed the decision was taken to encourage employees to complete their daily tasks on time. Fenaka provides utility services to 154 residential islands across the Maldives, and currently employs over 3,000 employees.
