Police seeks to identify customers who bought motorcycles from Kingston

Maldives Police Service is seeking information of customers who have paid Kingston Holdings to buy motorcycles via the company, after multiple complaints were filed over potentially having been scammed.

Police said that multiple complaints have been filed against Kingston, alleging that they defrauded individuals by collecting funds under the pretense of selling motorcycles. These complaints are currently under investigation.

As such, the agency is seeking information on any other individuals who may have also been defrauded by the company. Information regarding the case is requested to be directed to the Economic Crime Investigation Number 9790048 via call.

Reports indicate that the company has failed to deliver motorcycles to some customers even after a year since receiving payments. Additionally, some customers have claimed that the company no longer answers their calls.
