ADK Hospital has said that one of the victims in last night's accident near Hulhumale' Central Park is currently in critical condition, and is being treated in their intensive care unit.
ADK Hospital's Managing Director Ahmed Afaal confirmed to Mihaaru that two of the persons injured in last night's accident are receiving treatment at the hospital. Afaal said that one is admitted in the ICU, with the other being treated in the HDU.
The hospital said that the woman in ICU is in critical condition.
"The male victim, who is being treated in the HDU, is stable," Afaal said.
As hospitals do not disclose medical information of patients, details of the injuries sustained by the victims are not available.
Four persons injured in last night's accident were initially provided immediate medical attention at Hulhumale' Hospital. Two were discharged later on last night after receiving treatment.
The other two were transferred to ADK Hospital last night by the request of their family.
A video of the accident scene circulating on social media shows three persons lying unconscious on the ground.
Police have stated that the accident happened when the car lost control and collided with the motorcycles. The injured were drivers and passengers on the motorcycles. The car that was involved in the accident was found on the wrong lane of the street, in the path of incoming traffic.
