ADK Hospital has decided to increase the prices of treatments that they offer.
The hospital said in an announcement on Tuesday night that the global economic slowdown in 2020 has lead to higher inflation and raised prices of goods and services. With that, the running costs of ADK hospital has increased many times over.
The hospital said the prices are being increased to provide services in a sustainable manner. According to the announcement, the hospital will start increasing the prices of its services from next Thursday.
Without giving further details, ADK said it had decided to increase the prices of services in phases to make the changes as easy as possible.
The changes in price of treatments will be available from the hospital counters.
In an interview with Mihaaru news last July, Managing Director of ADK Hospital, Ahmed Afaal said that, although health services are not subject to GST, the price of every equipment purchased to provide these services include GST of six percent.
He noted that the cost of treatment is rising for all these reasons.
