Telecom giant Ooredoo Maldives launched its SuperNet Fixed Broadband services in Maamigili, Alif Dhaal Atoll, on Saturday.
Speaking at the launching ceremony, Ooredoo's Director of Sales and Brand, Hussain Niyaz said, "The impact of high-speed broadband services in enabling social and economic growth, especially in secluded areas, is unprecedented. Understanding its importance, one of our top priorities continues to be connecting local communities across the nation to affordable high-speed broadband internet services. We’re excited to expand our SuperNet Broadband Services to A.dh Maamigili, and enabling its people to truly enjoy the internet with Ooredoo."
Ooredoo is providing exciting offers for all customers acquiring a SuperNet connection in Maamigili before December 31. The company is also giving new customers the opportunity to acquire their new broadband connections by waiving connection fees.
Ooredoo further introduced an offer by which customers can purchase their SuperNet routers as part of a 12-month installment plan.
Linkworld is the infrastructure partner in Maamigili, supporting Ooredoo in expanding the network at the island.
