President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih on Monday appointed three members to the Employment Tribunal.
The new members were presented with their letters of appointment by President Solih at a ceremony held at President’s Office.
According to the President's office, the three had taken their oaths in front of the Criminal Court Chief Judge Ahmed Hailam, prior to the ceremony.
The following members were appointed;
Aminath completed her Masters of Laws (LLM Employment Law) at Kingston University, London. Formerly, she was a legal consultant at the National Pay Commission. President Solih also appointed her as the Vice President of the Tribunal.
Fathimath completed her Bachelor of Law (LLB Law, Shariah and Law) at the Maldives National University. She has several years of experience in the legal sector.
Mifraz completed his Masters in Business and Law, specializing in employment and human resources. He was an Assistant Public Prescutor at the Prosecutor General’s Office and worked as a Legal Assistant at the Supreme Court.
