The Ministry of Islamic Affairs has commenced the distribution of dates donated to the Maldives by the Government of Saudi Arabia.
Every year, Saudi Arabia donates dates to the Maldives during the fasting month of Ramadan. Dates are typically distributed before or during the first week of the fasting month.
