Heritage Ministry has opened applications for coordinators who will receive a remuneration of MVR 30,000 and will be contracted for two years.
Ministry of Dhivehi Language, Culture and Heritage is in search of 10 Coordinators offered a monthly salary of MVR 30,000.
National Institute for the Maldivian Heritage Research has announced their search for coordinators with a monthly MVR 30,000 remuneration offer.
This institute was established last month with the objective to revive and instill knowledge of the Dhivehi language, history, culture, heritage, legacy, traditions, and patriotism
An announcement made by the ministry presents the coordinators with MVR 25,000 as their salary, in addition to receiving an addition allowance of MVR 5000. The announcement also clarified that the hired coordinators will be granted their Ramadan allowance as well.
With a contract duration of 2 years, the application window for the position of Coordinator is open until the end of Tuesday.
1. Collect and learn information, conduct researches and present information about the protection, revitalization and conservation of the Dhivehi Language
2. Assess the quality of the research material on Dhivehi language prepared to be published
3. Possess an interest in increasing creations related to the Dhivehi Language
4. Supervise the determined junior employees and assess the quality of their work
1. Attainment of a bachelor’s degree qualification with at least 1 year of experience in the teaching/educational field.
2. Attainment of a degree or diploma qualification with at least 2 years of experience in the field
3. Attainment of at least a ‘D’ grade pass in two subjects in secondary education or an equivalent examination with an attainment of at least a ‘C’ grade pass in Dhivehi in Secondary school or Higher Secondary school examinations and possess an interest in researching the Dhivehi language with 3 years of experience in the administrative field In addition to satisfying at least one the aforementioned conditions, applicants must be over 35 years old and must understand how to speak and write in Dhivehi and English language while also possessing knowledge on the preparation and proposal of a presentation.
In order to revive Nationalism, the Ministry of Dhivehi Language, Culture and Heritage has also formed three subdivision agencies. These agencies are Dhivehi National Heritage Research Centre, the Dhivehi National Heritage College, and the Dhivehi National Publisher.
Reviving and fortifying the Maldivian Nationality was a major pledge by President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu.
