Maldivian president accused of delaying justice in Nasheed attack

Associates of former Maldivian President and Speaker of Parliament Mohamed Nasheed have accused President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih of intentionally delaying justice in the case of Nasheed's attempted assassination, which occurred two years ago.

Associates of former Maldivian President and Speaker of Parliament Mohamed Nasheed have accused President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih of intentionally delaying justice in the case of Nasheed's attempted assassination, which occurred two years ago.

"On the second anniversary of the assassination attempt...Mohamed Nasheed, Eva Abdulla, who is the Vice President of the Parliament and Nasheed's niece, took to Twitter to denounce President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih for his handling of the case," reads the article.
