A car ploughed into the outer wall of the parliament building on Tuesday, resulting in injuries to the driver.
Police stated that the accident was reported around 1215 hrs, revealing that the driver had lost control while driving along the road Hakuraa Goalhi.
Police did not disclose the extent of the driver's injuries but said that the individual was rushed to Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) for treatment.
Photographs released show that the front of the car, which was a taxi per the yellow registration plate, was totalled in the accident.
Police assured that further investigations were underway.
