DNR has announced that ID Card distribution will proceed on three days during the last ten days of Ramadan, stating that this alteration was brought in conformity with the President's decision to declare the last ten days of Ramadan as public holidays.
Department of National Registration (DNR) has stated today that three days have been determined for the issuance of Identity Cards during the last ten days of Ramadan.
DNR has publicly disclosed the determined schedules for ID Card issuance services during the upcoming month of Ramadan. This schedule states that 2nd, 3rd and 8th of April has been allocated to distribute ID Cards during the last ten days of Ramadan.
DNR highlighted that the window for ID Card issuance through a number generated on the QueBee app will be from 09:00 hrs to 11:30 hrs in the morning. They further shared that QueBee will issue 150 numbers a day.
These timings were arranged as per President Dr Mohamed Muizzu's declaration of the last ten days of the month of Ramadan as public holidays.
While three days of the last ten days of Ramadan has been allocated to issue ID Cards, emergency situations will be provided service with a call to the department's hotline 7280368.
As per the calendar, the first day of Ramadan this year falls on March 11.
