Former government began projects even with no funds for political purposes: Ziyad

In response to former President Solih's declaration that President Muizzu had not lived up to his word in continuing MDP's projects, MTCC's CEO, Ziyad shot back, alleging that those projects were begun for political reasons without any repayment plans.

CEO of Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC), Abdulla Ziyad has fired a heated comeback at former President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih, stating that his administration had launched developmental projects for political purposes without any access to funds.

Speaking at a Maldives Democratic Party (MDP) campaign meeting in Shaviyani Atoll Maaungoodhoo last Saturday, former President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih said that this government has discontinued nearly all the projects launched by the former administration, specially in local atolls.
