Saudi Arabia announced on Sunday that they will issue three-month VISAs to all visiting the country to perform the Umra pilgrimage.

According to the Saudi Gazette, the announcement was made by the Minister for Hajj and Umrah pilgrimage Dr. Thaufeeq Alrabia during an official trip made to Uzbekistan.

Previously, only a one-month VISA was issued to those visiting to complete the Umrah pilgrimage. When the change is implemented, Muslims from any country in the world can receive a three-month VISA to Saudi Arabia, when visiting for the Umrah Pilgrimage.

However, the country has not stated when they will implement this change.

Saudi Arabia has loosened the restrictive measures the country placed following the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020.
