TFG has awarded medals to the winners of the 'Maldives Long Run' held in association with Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC).
The runners were presented with medals at a ceremony held at TFG last night. The best female and male runners from seven different age categories were selected at the ceremony. The age groups considered for awarding medals are under-13, 14-19 years, 20-29 years old age group, 30-39 years, 40-49 years, 50-59 years, and 60 years of age.
The annual 'Maldives Long Run' marathon, organized by TFG, adheres to international marathon standards. During the awarding ceremony, TFG also announced the dates for two of the four races scheduled for next year.
The first race, 'BML Wow Kidz Run,' is a collaboration between the gym and Bank of Maldives (BML), specifically for children in March. The second race, 'Aro MV Run,' in collaboration with Malé Water and Sewerage Company (MWSC), is a 5K run where winners will be selected and awarded.
Registration for both races are currently open.
TFG emphasized its commitment to promoting a healthy lifestyle and announced its intention to continue organizing such events engage the public in physical activities.
