United States of America have volunteered to assist Maldives in bringing the perpetuators behind the attack on Mohamed Nasheed to justice, on Friday.
Around 2030hrs on Thursday, an attack near the residence of Speaker Nasheed's house injured him and four other people. While the rest were released after treatment that day itself, Nasheed underwent multiple surgeries and was kept in the ICU as his status was critical.
