Russian citizen found dead at resort

Maldives Police Service, on Thursday, revealed that a 60-year-old Russian man was found dead at Eriyadhoo Resort in Kaafu Atoll.

The matter was reported at approximately 1422 hrs after the man was discovered in his room.

A team of police officers arrived at the resort after receiving the report, recovered the body and transported it to Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) in the capital city of Male'.

The police are conducting further investigations into the matter.
